These days, it’s become increasingly difficult for music fans to catch legendary performers. Some of the all-time greats have grown too old to stand the rigours of touring, while others, such as David Bowie, Prince and Michael Jackson, have been lost to us forever.
But there is one band that keeps defying the odds. They keep coming back for more. Somehow, Keith is still alive and Mick keeps running around the stage like a 25-year-old in heat as Ronnie and the stoic Charlie try to keep pace.
So buckle up Copenhagen, because this autumn, the Rolling Stones are back in town.
As part of a new European tour, ‘Stones – No Filter’, the band will perform at the Telia Parken Stadium on October 3 in a show that will include loads of classic anthems such as ‘Gimme Shelter’, ‘Paint It Black’ and ‘Brown Sugar’, as well as newer tracks and surprises picked from the band’s indomitable catalogue of material.
“I’m so excited to be touring Europe this autumn and returning to some familiar places and some we’ve never done before,” commented Mick Jagger.
