China celebrates Chinese New Year, the beginning of the spring festival, and the diplomatic anniversary

2025 is now the year of the snake, according to the Chinese calendar, and January 29, marks the Chinese New Year and the start of the anniversary of 75 years of diplomatic relations between Denmark and the People’s Republic of China.

This was celebrated with an exclusive performance in Tivoli Concert Hall, and tonight in Samværket kulturcenter in Kolding.

On stage was The Hangzhou Opera & Dance Drama Theater troupe specialized in singing, dancing, acrobatics, ballet, and magic. Sharing their performance with Chinese art forms and interpretations of both Danish melodies, and opera classics like the Brindisi, from Verdi’s famous opera, La Traviata.

The show was professionally hosted on stage by Copenhagen-based Mr. Wilson Zhu, Mr. Jiang Lei and Mrs. Han Xu from the troupe, all ensuring a light and positive atmosphere in the Concert hall.
