Geranium in Copenhagen has been named the world’s best restaurant

The three-Michelin-star restaurant in Copenhagen has been named the world’s best restaurant by the World’s Best Restaurant Academy in London.

Based on the votes from a panel of 1,080 culinary connoisseurs, Geranium – a Copenhagen restaurant with three Michelin stars – was named the best restaurant in the world.

The results are published by the World’s Best Restaurant Academy in London, which annually publishes a list of the 50 best restaurants in the world.

Two other Danish restaurants also made it into this ranking this year: Alchemist and Jordnær. They are ranked 18th and 38th respectively. Both are two-star Michelin restaurants and both made the list for the first time this year.
