S-trains delayed due to safety reasons

DSB failed to update their drivers about traffic situation

Commuters had to wait longer to get to work today as fewer trains operated on lines A and H in Copenhagen this morning due to an oversight that resulted in the drivers not receiving their daily bulletin.

For safety reasons therefore, S-trains did not run according to the schedule but instead only every 20 minutes.

Challenges with important documents
"The bulletins contain, among other things, traffic reports, information about work on tracks and other details drivers need to be aware of," the DSB security manager, Lars Nordahl told Metroexpress.

"We are, and must be especially careful if conditions on the lines are not normal."
