Popular gourmet pizza chain laying on free Field’s feed to mark opening

Giveaway pizza and prizes to mark gorm’s grand opening next Tuesday

The popular gourmet pizza restaurant gorm’s will be serving free food to the public when it opens a new location in the Nordisk Film movie theatre building at Field’s next Tuesday.

Shoppers and cinema-goers who visit gorm’s will find plenty of space. The new 400 sqm, 140-seat restaurant is the chain’s largest.

gorm’s will be handing out free pizza to all customers that visit the grand opening between 10 am and noon next Tuesday 11 August.

“We have high expectations for our new restaurant at Field’s, so we want to have a great grand opening,” said Simon Giroux, the head chef at gorm’s at Field’s.

“We look forward to meeting customers here in the centre and believe that shoppers and hungry cinema-goers will enjoy a little gourmet break.”

Shopping centre gourmet
The pizza chain’s foray into Field’s follows a growing trend of high-end eateries opening in busy shopping centres. It already has locations in Nyhavn, Magstræde Torvehallerne and City2.

“Field’s is Scandinavia’s leading shopping and entertainment centre, so opening here is an attractive option for us,” said Anders Kjørup, gorm’s managing director.

gorm’s focuses on Italian cuisine in an informal and rustic atmosphere. The restaurants are popular with people who appreciate high-end ingredients and good wine in an informal setting.
