NNIT listing delayed until 2015

Uncertain stock market conditions could be a factor

Hopes had been running high in recent months in expectation that NNIT, a Novo Nordisk subsidiary and one of Denmark’s leading IT consultants, was preparing for the stock market in what would have been one of the biggest IT listings in Danish history.

Now it seems the listing won’t take place until 2015, Børsen reports.

Autumn uncertainty
In January, NNIT announced its plans to list in the course of 2014, but in the third-quarter report of its parent company, Novo Nordisk, it was announced that this would be delayed.

“The assessment is still ongoing and an update is now expected to be provided in connection with the full year result for 2014,” it was stated in an announcement accompanying the report.

Børsen reports that uncertainty on the stock market during the autumn has scared several companies from proceeding with listings. In the past, the same happened with ISS and Dong.

Novo Nordisk posted positive financial results for the first three quarters of the year, with net profit up by 4 percent.
