All Kweli that ends Kweli

The rapper’s rapper, political activist and rap supremo Talib Kweli hails from Brooklyn, New York and is well known for, amongst other things, his collaborations with Mos Def, another emblematic rap name.

Technically, Kweli’s style is sound and widely praised: a bombastic, sharp assault on social issues of the era backed by relatively simple acoustic arrangements that place his complex lyrical outbursts into the limelight, the adorned centerpiece of his musical universe.

With two album releases in 2013, the 38-year-old Kweli is on top form.
