UPDATE: DMI is now forecasting 30mm of rain for Sunday, with most of it expected to fall between 7am and 2pm.
ORIGINAL STORY: DMI has forecast 35mm of rain over the next two days for the capital region. However, most of it will fall while many of us are asleep.
Needless to say, it won’t be a good idea to hang the washing outside tonight, and it might be advised to take an umbrella if you plan a night on the town.
Low pressure system
A low pressure system is currently moving in from the east, and the first of the rain is expected to fall in the capital at between noon and 1pm today.
No heavy rain is expected until between 9 and 10pm, and by the time the day is over, forecasters are expecting 15mm to have fallen.
Moving on into Sunday, most of the 20mm forecast will fall between 12 and 2am.
Not as wet as the capital
As the low pressure system moves west, other areas of the country can also expect rainy weather on Sunday.
North, mid, west and east Jutland will all see a lot of rain on Sunday, but nowhere as near as much as the deluge heading for the capital.
