Art Workshop at the National Gallery

Drawing, painting and sculpting is not limited to only the famous artists whose work is on display at the National Gallery of Denmark. Children will be able to get creative and use the available paper, paint, pencils, cloth, clay, glue guns and more tools to make art in the various workshops. There will be teaching artists ready to assist and lead children in all steps of their own artistic processes.

Tivoli Parade
Decked out in red uniforms, the nine- to 16-year-old students from the Tivoli Gardens music school will play their instruments and march in the park this summer. The parade will take a course through out the gardens  – perfect for those who would rather avoid the roller coaster or the 80m high Sky Flyer carousel.

Critics Choice

Ehlin’s Flea Market
Visit this cosy private flea market in the garden of CJ Brandts Vej 7 this weekend, where you can find everything from clothing and shoes to bags and baskets. All proceeds benefit the Colitis Crohn’s Association. Cancelled in the case of rain or strong winds.

Østerbro Summer Flea
Celebrate the warm weather at Østerbro’s lively summer flea market this weekend, where dozens of private stallholders and fabulous finds await you. Conveniently located right near Svanemøllen station, the market is easy to reach and held in rain or shine. There is also a cafeteria and hot dog stand, as well as toilet facilities nearby.
