Celebrate good beers, come on!

Fancy a beer? Or do you have a little reason for not drinking? This weekend and next week there is something for everyone whether holding a beer, a partner or a baby under your arm.

Mikkeller Beer Celebration

Following the first Mikkeller Beer Celebration last year, this year’s festival is sure to be better than ever. Gathering the best brewers from around the world, Mikkeller, which in just a short time has established itself as the city’s premier beer-maker, is organising a celebration consisting of three entirely different sessions, with about 90 brewers represented in each. Among the 250 different brewers are Denmark’s Amager Bryghus and Against the Grain! from the United States. Aside from drinking, participants can also attend one of the many free lectures and master classes held by brewers, and indulge themselves in the various offerings from local restaurants.

Spartas Løbehal, Gunnar Nu Hansens Plads 11, Cph Ø; Fri 15:00-20:00, Sat 11:30-16:30 & 18:00-23:00; tickets: 450kr; www.copenhagenbeercelebration.com

Baby and Toddler Fair

At the fair, you will learn about all the new and innovative essentials for your child including food, strollers, toys, books, clothing and more. There will also be information sessions on how to care for your child in the best way possible, as well as a designated area for your child’s entertainment and a crèche area for the babies.

…AND….

The name piques interest, doesn’t it? Well, the performance does as well. Asking questions about our identities and commenting on our interactions with society, …AND… is an apt title for understanding just how many possible come-aways are possible with this show. Choreographed by two people with immensely different visions, this performance is a juxtaposed blend of artistic creativity and true self-identification. A minimalistic stage is brought to life by lively, present dancers who will make you feel. And you are sure to come away with a few questions yourself!

Dansehallerne, Store Carl, Pasteursvej 20, Cph V; Fri & Sat 20:00; tickets: 35-120kr, www.teaterbilletter.dk; www.dansehallerne.dk
