Junior Business Analyst – Student position

Copenhagen Capacity is looking for an ambitious Junior Business Analyst for the Investment Promotion department. The position is a part-time student assistant, and the focus will be to contribute to job creation and sustainable growth in the Greater Copenhagen Region.

The Investment Promotion department in Copenhagen Capacity consists of three teams focusing on Life Sciences, Tech, and Green Transition. You will work with all three teams and also contribute to the management’s efforts to develop our organization moving forward.

We are looking for a student assistant with a keen interest in regional competitiveness and performance in an international context, encompassing keywords like market analysis, segmentation, statistics, rankings, business clusters, new technology, innovation, start-ups, incubators, and benchmarks of parameters such as wage levels and taxation schemes.

About you
We expect that you:

  • Have completed or is about to finish your Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Have a flair for numbers and economics and an analytical mind-set that enables you spot the weaknesses and strengths of analysis designs.
  • Work in a structured manner, meet deadlines and keep a good spirit when things get busy.
  • Are fluent in English in reading and writing. Danish language skills are not a requirement, but an advantage.
  • You can work around 15 hours a week on average.

About the job
The Investment Promotion department consists of around 10 full-time employees with experience from private companies, ministries etc. Your job will be to assist the consultants in their tasks with a mixture of routine-like tasks and more demanding analysis tasks, desk-research etc. From time to time there will also be a requirement for assistant at customer and networking events. Across departments there are 7 students in Copenhagen Capacity, and we encourage you to engage in creating a vibrant student environment in the organisation of a total of 35 employees of 12 different nationalities.
