Summer warmth and sunshine set to continue

If you chose to stay in Denmark this weekend, you won’t be disappointed as DMI’s weather forecast is full of high temperatures, sunshine and low to moderate pollen numbers

Don’t forget your sunglasses, swimming suit, hat and sunscreen if you are planning a trip to the beach or summerhouse this weekend, because the meteorological institute DMI is promising high temperatures and many hours of sunshine.

If you take a look outside it is not hard to see that the weather is already good and it will continue for the rest of the day. Today will be a beautiful day with temperatures reaching up to 25 degrees Celsius and mild wind. The expected pollen number for grass is moderate, between ten and 50, and the mugwort number is anticipated to be less than ten, which is low.

Saturday will be a repetition of today with temperatures between 20-25 degrees Celsius, although conditions will be a bit cooler in northwest Jutland as a stronger wind will keep the temperatures under 20 degrees. The wind will be a bit stronger than Friday for the rest of the country as well.

The water temperature is around 18 degrees in Copenhagen and night temperatures are predicted to be between ten and 15 degrees so don’t forget to bring a jacket if you are going out.

A high pressure system will remain over Denmark for most of the weekend, but a cold front will pass on Sunday that is expected to lower temperatures to just below 20 degrees and result in a more overcast day. According to DMI, that will be just a minor interruption. Pleasant summer weather is predicted to continue through all of next week, with the first signs of rain not coming until July 20.
