Social networking for dummies and pros at Social Media Week

Social Media Week Copenhagen (February 23-27) offers participants the opportunity to take part free of charge in over 105 lectures and events organised by international social media experts.

A number of workshops will complement the talks, offering hands-on experience related to social media and a chance for networking.

Part of an international event
Copenhagen will also host a series of official and unofficial events to run alongside others taking place across the world in cities like New York, Jakarta and Lagos.

Covering fields that span culture, politics and technology, the events address the use of social media in various fields and addresses start-ups, businesses, NGOs and private individuals.

Among the recommended talks are 'Army of Advocates: How social adoption & media intelligence can make or break a company' (one.com on Wednesday) and 'HEFORSHE – How to Create a Movement' (UN City on Tuesday).

All events are free of charge but require prior registration, as seats are limited.
