Another 3 F-35s arrived yesterday in Denmark. The three fighter jets took off from Luke Air Force Base in Arizona and passed through Fort Worth, Texas. The last stop was a layover in the Azores before landing at Skrydstrup Air Base.
Now, they will be part of the Danish military jet fleet. They were purchased from the US weapon manufacturer Lockheed Martin, as part of a larger plan to renew the Danish arsenal.
Denmark has purchased a total of 27 F-35 fighter jets, at a total cost of around 15 billion DKK.
