Several train companies affected by the signal failure in Jutland have announced plans to reduce service for the rest of the weekend. According to Banedanmark, reports Ritzau, Nordjyske Jernbaner, Midtjyske Jernbaner, and GoCollective will operate with hourly trains through Sunday, meaning that only one train per hour will run on the affected routes.
These disruptions impact key connections, including trains from Aarhus to Struer, Aarhus to Viborg, and Esbjerg to Varde. The signal issue caused major disruptions to train traffic across much of Jutland on Thursday, and as of Friday morning, Banedanmark has not yet determined the cause of the failure.
